We're in LA! We made it! To quote Bill Goldberg, "let the games begin"!
Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 01:00AM I could feel my heart beating in my throat as we approached the ticketing agent. They have to let Blake on this plane.;)
We've worked too hard. We've come to far. We're not turning around. Blake has been practicing his "crying" skills, but we didn't want to go there (unless vitally necessary). The gate agent was all smiles as I handed her Blake's documents. She nodded in agreement as I explained that the office of homeland security verbally approved his foster care "state" ID as valid since they are run by the state. Unfortunately, she still had to get final approval from the TSA agent on the ground.
I knew something was wrong as soon as she turned the corner. With her head down low and a hallow smile, tears began to well. I recognized her broken spirit. She went on to explain that the agent did not approve his ID; however, there was one more person she could talk to... I held my breath.
Moments later she appeared with one of Blake's countless guardian angels (aka, her supervisor). Without;)
hesitation, she approved Blake's documents as if she'd been expecting us. Next thing I know, we were on our way the plane! Gate B26, here we come!
The flight was full of anxiety; nervous chatter; curious questions; Family Guy episodes; PSP; music; computer chess and a brief nap (although he won't admit he was "sleeping"). There are countless moments I want to share, but I'm fading. I especially want to share the story of the beautiful woman, Jennifer, sitting to my right on the plane – she was sitting next to me for a reason.
It's been a long turbulent day! Blake is nestled in his new cozy bed upstairs at Penny's. I pray he gets some sleep as tomorrow is another full day. We head to Jay Leno for a live taping of his show!

Wooohooo! Im stoked to hear yall are having fun! Im totally jealous of Blake right now...I wish I could me Jay Leno, or even be in LA for that matter.
Still no word on the TV show, but my guy is definitely down to say hey... So far I definitely have Kwee Wee and Mike Sanders on board. Both wrestlers from WCW and/or WWE
