Madison, my 14 yr old mut that lives with my dad (b/c she hated nyc) is just fine (I thought she was a goner;)
yesterday). I knew she didn't like thunder, but it had been awhile since I weathered a storm with her. The storm had long since passed, yet she was still shaking to the point of convulsing and her heart was racing so fast I was convinced she was going to have a heart attack. It was crazy. I was sobbing like a 2 yr old. I called my father and the vet – they both said she'd mostly like be just fine. Really?!?!
Well, they were right. About 15 minutes later she was sleeping – same as usual. I truly didn't think her 14 yr old ticker could handle the stress. ooops. my bad. glad I was wrong. :)
